How Much Does Linker Cost?
Do I need to sign a contract or pay any monthly fees to use Linker?
No. We do not ask you to sign any long-term commitment, or pay any monthly fees to use Linker. You can cancel your account without any sort of penalty, at any time, for any reason.
Can I try Linker for free before signing up for a paid account?
Actually, it's very easy to try Linker for free. We encourage you to sign up for a free account to give Linker a try, and we're so sure that you'll find our service valuable that your first 5 matches are completely free! And because we really want you to start engaging fast, we ask that you use up those 5 free matches within the first two weeks of signing up. After that, if you wish to continue using the service you begin paying $9.95 for each connection (i.e. mutually accepted match).
Once I use all of my free matches, how much will each additional match cost?
You only pay when you both parties accept a match and make a connection! After the first 5 free matches, we ask that you begin paying $9.95 for each connection (i.e. mutually accepted match). If you request a connection but the other Linker community member doesn't accept your invitation to connect, there will be NO fee.
Technical Questions About Linker
Does Linker violate Google's Webmaster Guidelines?
No. To be very clear, Linker is not a link database, and we do not operate a cross-linking network. We simply provide marketers with introductions to other marketers who are interested in linking; and once the introduction is made we are out of the picture. While we do require users to pay a fee for an introduction, we do not require them to pay a fee for the link itself. In fact, after the introduction, site owners have free will to link or not to link. Additionally, we do not promote any paid links, nor do we require reciprocal linking, or force users to link back to Eightfold Logic.
Will you publish any network of sites that can be mapped or traced?
No. There is no network of sites. We simply provide introductions between people who represent websites which have attributes matching what you both are looking for - much like a dating service.
Will you spam anyone on my behalf with link opportunities?
No. We only provide introductions to and from active participants in the network. These are people who have registered, filled in a site profile AND a link match criteria form. So, they are active within the system. We won't approach anyone, nor will you get approached by anyone from outside the system.
Will you broker links if I'm interested in buying or selling them?
No, and we're not interested in getting into that business either. We're just facilitating the marketplace, and automating a lot of the work you would have to do to research which sites to link to or from. We also connect you to the correct person in the type of organization you wish to communicate with so that you don't have to spend hours trying to find out who they are or how to get to them. But we're not interested in being link brokers.
